Job Title: Photocopier Technician / Service Engineer

General Summary:

National Printing Centre LLC is looking for an experienced Photocopier Technician / Service Engineer to handle technical service, installations, preventive maintenance and maintenance contract support for our office equipment systems and products.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, good problem-solving skills, quick response to service calls and the ability to deliver reliable support to customers across the UAE.

Core Responsibilities:

• The Photocopier Technician / Service Engineer will be responsible for handling routine maintenance visits, equipment installations, service calls, repairs and breakdown support.
• The main objective is to minimize equipment downtime for customers by responding quickly, diagnosing issues accurately, completing repairs properly and avoiding repeat service calls.
• The role also requires building customer trust by providing professional service, clear communication and dependable technical support.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Provide technical service to new and existing customers by planning daily service visits, attending customer sites, investigating complaints, diagnosing faults and resolving equipment breakdowns.
• Carry out installations, preventive maintenance, regular service visits and repair work for photocopiers, printers, plotters, scanners and multifunction printers.
• Replace required spare parts, test equipment after repair and ensure machines are working properly before closing the service call.
• Configure equipment on customer networks for printing and scanning, including basic print, scan and connectivity setup.
• Minimize customer downtime by providing quick response times, effective troubleshooting and reliable repair work.
• Maintain good technical knowledge of the company’s products and attend technical training whenever required.

Reporting:

The Photocopier Technician / Service Engineer will report to the Team Leader / Service Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience servicing photocopiers, printers, plotters or multifunction printers.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from a recognized university and a strong IT background.

Required Skills:

• Quickly and effectively resolve equipment breakdowns.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• How to configure printers, photocopiers and multifunction devices on customer networks for printing and scanning.
• The candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as within a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Valid U.A.E. driver’s license and their own car.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Arabic.
