Epson SureColor SC-F2200

In direct-to-garment mode, the Epson SC-F2200 is designed for compatible cotton-based products such as T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags and similar garments. Its direct-to-film workflow can extend production to additional suitable textiles by printing a transfer film that is later applied to the garment with heat.

The Epson SC-F2200 supports a maximum print area of 406 x 508 mm, or 16 x 20 inches. A 356 x 406 mm medium platen is standard, while large, small and sleeve platens are available for different garment sizes and print positions.

The Epson SC-F2200 can produce a light-colour T-shirt in approximately 43 seconds and a dark-colour T-shirt in approximately 142 seconds in the published settings. It offers print resolution up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi; production time depends on artwork size, print mode, white-ink coverage and curing workflow.

The Epson SC-F2200 uses five Epson UltraChrome DG pigment inks in black, cyan, magenta, yellow and white. The 800 ml ink packs support professional garment production, while white ink provides the underbase needed for bright colour on dark garments.

Automatic carriage-height adjustment positions the printhead correctly for the loaded garment, reducing manual setup and helping maintain consistent quality. The SC-F2200 also includes a 4.3-inch touchscreen, a transparent lid with internal lighting, direct USB printing and print preview for a clearer operator workflow.

Direct-to-garment production normally requires suitable pretreatment and a heat press or conveyor dryer for curing. Direct-to-film production also requires compatible film, powder application and curing equipment. The SC-F2200 is the more compact and flexible model, with 800 ml inks and support for direct-to-garment and direct-to-film production. The SC-F3000 is built for heavier garment volumes, using dual printheads and 1.5-litre ink pouches. Choose the SC-F2200 for a smaller or growing operation and the SC-F3000 for sustained production demand.
