Epson SureColor SC-P5000 STD

The Epson P5000 STD prints up to the A2+ class at a maximum width of 17 inches. The exact printable area, borderless options and available length depend on the selected sheet or roll path and chosen media.

The SC-P5000 STD offers resolution up to 2,880 × 1,440 dpi. Final photographic quality also depends on the ink set, media profile, source file, colour management and viewing conditions.

The P5000 STD uses 11-colour UltraChrome HDX pigment ink in 200 ml cartridges. With the violet-ink configuration, suitable media and a colour-managed workflow, it can reproduce up to 99% of the Pantone Solid Coated range. Correct media profiles and a controlled colour workflow are important when repeatability and client-approved colour are required.

The P5000 STD handles up to 250 cut sheets through its sheet cassette, as well as roll media, fine-art sheets and rigid media through the appropriate path. Use the correct loading path for the selected paper, canvas or rigid-media thickness, roll core and surface coating.

The SC-P5000 STD supports USB and Ethernet for managed studio, prepress and proofing environments. For reliable colour, use a colour-managed workstation, calibrated display, correct ICC profiles and a stable network connection.

The SC-P5000 STD is a 17-inch production desktop printer with a sheet cassette and optional SpectroProofer. The P700 and P900 are lighter desktop photo models, while the P7500 is a wider 24-inch production printer.
