The Aurora MOPA uses a 100 W 1064 nm source with a very wide frequency and pulse-width range. This extra control helps optimise contrast, depth, heat input and specialised effects that a basic Q-switched fibre source cannot reproduce as flexibly.
The Aurora MOPA is particularly strong on stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and other metals, and it can also mark many plastics and coated parts. NPC can test sample components and develop effective starting parameters for the required colour, contrast or depth.
Yes. Controlled MOPA pulse settings can create bright colour effects on suitable metals, especially stainless steel. NPC can test sample parts and develop repeatable settings for the colour effect you want.
The Aurora MOPA excels at permanent marking, colour effects, ablation and deep engraving on suitable metals. For regular sheet-metal cutting, NPC can recommend a dedicated cutting laser designed specifically for that production work.
Maximum marking speed is rated up to 10,000 mm/s. The standard work area is 150 x 150 mm, with optional 110 x 110 mm and 200 x 200 mm work areas.
Yes. Autofocus and a camera are included, and rotary accessories are available for cylindrical parts. NPC completes the camera, focus, fixture and rotary setup during installation and trains your operators for repeatable production.
