The Thunder Nova 24 is suitable for signage companies, gift and personalisation businesses, fabrication workshops, interior designers, educational institutions and manufacturers producing prototypes, decorative items or customised products.

The Thunder Nova 24 uses a 40W–60W CO2 glass laser tube with a water-cooling system. The laser tube has an expected service life of more than 2,000 working hours, although actual life depends on operating conditions, maintenance and cooling performance.

Yes. The Thunder Nova 24 can cut, engrave and mark a wide variety of compatible materials. The correct laser power, speed and focus settings depend on the material, its thickness and the required finish.

It can cut and engrave compatible materials such as wood, MDF, acrylic, Plexiglass, cork, bamboo, leather, rubber, fabric, denim, paper and cardboard. It can also engrave glass, marble, stone, ceramic, tiles, anodised aluminium and coated metals. Every material should be confirmed as safe for CO2 laser processing before use.

No. The Thunder Nova 24 is not designed for cutting metal. It can engrave or mark certain anodised aluminium and coated metal surfaces, but cutting or directly marking bare metals normally requires a suitable fibre laser.

The Thunder Nova 24 has a working area of 600 × 400 × 155 mm (W × D × H), providing sufficient capacity for many commercial engraving, cutting and personalisation applications.

Yes. Its pass-through system allows longer materials to extend through the front and rear of the machine. When using the pass-through, the supported material size is up to 610 mm wide, unlimited in length and 20 mm high.

The Thunder Nova 24 offers a maximum engraving speed of up to 1,000 mm/s and resolution up to 1,000 dpi when fitted with the appropriate 1.5-inch lens. Actual speed and resolution depend on the material, artwork and selected quality settings.

Yes. The Thunder Nova 24 has built-in autofocus and supports a compatible rotary attachment for engraving cylindrical objects such as bottles, glasses and tumblers. The appropriate rotary accessory should be confirmed when requesting a quotation.

The Thunder Nova 24 supports LaserMaker, LightBurn and RDWorks software. Jobs can be transferred through Ethernet, a USB cable or USB flash memory, and the machine includes 1GB of internal memory.
