The Thunder Nova Plus 24 is a compact commercial CO2 laser with a 60 W RF source, a 600 x 400 mm bed and pass-through support. It is suitable for detailed engraving and cutting where production quality is required but floor space is limited.
The Nova Plus 24 can engrave and cut materials such as wood, acrylic, leather, fabric, paper, rubber, ABS and many plastics. NPC can test your material and recommend effective starting settings.
The Nova Plus 24 can mark certain coated or treated metal surfaces. For direct marking on bare metal, NPC can also recommend a Thunder Fiber, MOPA or UV laser.
The work area is 600 x 400 x 155 mm. Its pass-through accepts material up to 610 mm wide with unlimited length and a 20 mm pass-through height, while maximum engraving speed is rated up to 1,200 mm/s.
Yes. With the appropriate 1.5-inch lens, the Nova Plus 24 can reach up to 2,000 dpi for fine detail and photographic engraving. NPC can help optimise the artwork and starting settings for the chosen material.
