Large Format Printers for CAD, Engineering and GIS
Epson T-Series: CAD Printer / GIS Printer / Graphics Printer:
These large format printers offer high-quality output at resolutions of up to 2,400 × 1,200 dpi. They are available as four-colour or six-colour machines and use Epson UltraChrome XD pigment inks, which produce vibrant colours and smudge-resistant, water-resistant output.
The ink tanks are available in high-capacity 350 ml and 700 ml sizes to provide a low cost per print. A single 350 ml ink tank can produce approximately 292 A0 CAD drawings. Epson wide format printers also offer up to 4 GB of RAM for fast image processing, while optional PostScript support is available for processing large and complex files.
Print speeds of 28 seconds per A1 drawing or 56 seconds per A0 drawing support fast printing and higher productivity. The latest higher-end models can reach speeds of up to 2 metres per minute for AutoCAD drawings.

Wide Format Printers
Two of NPC’s best-selling Epson wide format printers are the SureColor SC-T5405 and SureColor SC-T5400M MFP. Both are 36-inch models designed for professional A0 and A1 printing.
The Epson SureColor SC-T5405 offers a print resolution of 2,400 × 1,200 dpi and can produce an A0 CAD drawing in approximately 44 seconds. It is designed to handle print volumes of up to 2,000 A0 CAD drawings per month and uses high-capacity 350 ml ink cartridges to provide a low cost per print. The model includes a one-year service contract (AMC) and a two-year warranty covering the printhead.
The Epson SureColor SC-T5400M MFP adds integrated copying and scanning functionality. It offers scan speeds of up to 7.5 inches per second in black and white and 4.5 inches per second in colour, with scan resolutions of up to 600 × 600 dpi. Scan-to-email, PC and shared-folder functions are included and configured for clients during installation.
The SC-T5400M MFP also includes Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi connectivity and 1 GB of RAM for efficient file processing.
Large Format Printer for Sale
NPC offers brand-new Epson large format printer models with either print-only or integrated printing, copying and scanning functionality. Businesses that require all three functions can compare our plotter with scanner range. Options are available for low, medium and high print volumes, allowing us to support start-up businesses, large offices, contractors, commercial printers and copy shops.
For businesses requiring a compact 24-inch machine, the Epson SureColor SC-T3100 and SC-T3100M MFP support A1, A2, A3 and A4 media sizes. The SC-T3100 measures 97.0 × 69.6 × 23 cm (W × D × H), while the multifunction SC-T3100M MFP measures 97.0 × 50.5 × 29.2 cm (W × D × H). Both models are compact enough for tabletop placement.
The two models offer print resolutions of up to 2,400 × 1,200 dpi, built-in Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, 1 GB of RAM and a 4.3-inch touchscreen. Print speeds are approximately 34 seconds for an A1 CAD drawing and 17 seconds for an A2 CAD drawing.
The SC-T3100M MFP additionally offers color scanning at 1.5 inches per second and black-and-white scanning at up to 4.5 inches per second, with scan resolutions of up to 600 × 600 dpi. The SC-T3100 includes a stand that can be installed or left boxed if tabletop placement is preferred. A stand for the SC-T3100M MFP is available as an optional accessory.
Large Format Printer for Photo, Fine Art & Proofing
Epson P-Series: Photo Printer / Fine Arts Printer / Proofing Printer:
Epson P-Series professional photo printers are designed for photographers, fine-art producers, proofing specialists and other colour-critical applications. Selected large format printer models use up to 12 colours, including green, orange and violet, to provide impressive colour accuracy and up to 99% Pantone coverage. Print resolutions across the range start at 2,400 × 1,200 dpi and reach up to 5,760 × 1,440 dpi.
Depending on the model, Epson P-Series wide format printers use high-capacity 350 ml and 700 ml ink cartridges and include up to 2 GB of RAM for fast image processing. Optional PostScript support is available, although dedicated RIP software is recommended for demanding professional workflows. Available sizes include 17-inch, 24-inch, 44-inch and 64-inch models.
These printers support media including photo paper, vinyl, fine-art cotton, proofing paper, adhesive paper, canvas and poster board weighing up to 1,130 g/m². Print-permanence testing by Wilhelm Imaging Research indicates that colour prints can last more than 60 years on Epson Cold Press Natural Paper and more than 200 years on selected media such as Epson Exhibition Canvas Satin. Black-and-white print-permanence results exceeded 400 years on many tested media.
