* Stone, slate, marble, granite, glass, ceramics and tile can have a very shallow engraving, but cannot be deep engraved like wood or acrylic.
Mark: Change the appearance or properties of the material’s surface to create permanent text, graphics, codes or identification, with little or no material removed.
Engrave: Remove material from the surface to create a permanent recessed design, with measurable depth that can range from shallow engraving to deep engraving.
Cut: Direct the laser completely through the material to separate it into individual parts or shapes.
