Laser Cutting Machine for Metal

A laser metal cutting machine produces flat parts from sheet stock for fabrication, signage, equipment manufacture and decorative work. A CNC laser cutter for metal follows your digital drawing to reproduce the required shapes and designs across a production batch.

Steel Laser Cutting Machine:

A laser steel cutting machine can produce brackets, mounting plates, base plates and flat carbon steel components for subsequent bending, welding or assembly. Tell us the thicknesses you cut most often and how many parts you need per batch, so that our recommendation will reflect your regular workload.

Stainless Steel Laser Cutting Machine:

Typical applications include signage letters, decorative panels, covers and equipment components. Specify the stainless steel grade and required edge finish, especially where the cut edge remains visible or parts need further processing.

Aluminium Laser Cutting Machine:

Aluminium alloy applications include panels, faceplates, mounting plates and lightweight components for signs, displays and equipment. Share your alloy type, sheet dimensions and a sample drawing with NPC so we can assess your cutting requirements.

CO2 Laser Cutting Machine

A CO2 laser cutting machine allows you to cut a wide range of non-metal materials which includes: acrylic, plexiglass, wood, MDF, leather, fabric, rubber, EVA foam, corian, plastic, cork and much more.

The CO2 laser cutters we offer can have either a glass or metal laser tube with the laser power ranging from 30W to 120W (depending on the model). Our entry level 30W laser cutter machine can cut 3mm MDF, 6mm birch plywood, 10mm acrylic, 10mm EVA Foam and 11mm cherry wood in a single pass. On the higher end, our 120W CO2 laser cutters offer sufficient power to cut 15mm MDF, 18mm birch plywood, 20mm cherry wood, 20mm acrylic, and 30mm EVA Foam in a single pass.

Additionally, thanks to a pass through feature on select models, the material sizes you can use with our machines range from 500mm x 300mm x 130mm up to 1,600mm x Unlimited Length x 65mm (W x D x H). With this wide range of equipment, we are able to cater to the requirements of startups, businesses, workshops and industrial clients while offering you the ability to handle a wide variety of material sizes and material thicknesses using relatively compact machines.

CO2 Laser Cutting Machine

With the dedicated laser cutting machine software, you can produce very accurate and detailed shapes while maintaining consistency across repeated job batches. Our clients include signage companies, acrylic fabricators, gift suppliers, schools, design studios, packaging businesses, interior décor companies, fashion workshops and production facilities among others.

We can help you choose a suitable CO2 laser cutter based on your applications, material sizes and daily workload. If you also need highly detailed engraving as an important part of your work, view our Laser Engraving and Cutting Machine solutions.

Which Materials Can a CO2 Laser Cutter Cut?

Different types of materials require different types of lasers and there is no single laser that can cut everything. Below is a table of the most common materials that can be used with a CO2 laser. If you have a specific material you would like to know about, our sales team can help you with more detailed information.

Even though many people tend to use the term PVC to refer to “plastic” in general we have noticed that what clients actually want to cut when they mention PVC is either Acrylic, ABS, Traffolyte, Polypropylene or Corian. That being said it is important to note that pure PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is the material used for the plumbing pipes in your home.

PVC should not be used with a CO2 laser as it will cause the release of chlorine gas and hydrochloric acid which is a health risk and which will damage the laser machine. Vinyl should also not be used with a CO2 laser machine.

Laser Cutter for Wood

Laser Cutter for Wood

A laser cutter for wood can produce accurate letters, panels, components, models and decorative shapes from MDF, plywood, bamboo, hardwood, cherry wood and other laser-compatible wood products. Typical applications include signage, architectural models, packaging prototypes, furniture details, gifts and repeat-production parts.

The cutting result depends on more than laser power. Wood density, moisture and resin content can affect the cutting speed and edge colour, while the adhesives used in plywood and MDF can change how consistently the material cuts. The correct wood laser cutting machine therefore depends on the material type, maximum thickness, sheet dimensions, required level of detail and daily production volume.

For smaller workpieces and lighter production, a compact model from the Bolt Series may be sufficient. Businesses processing larger panels, thicker materials or repeated production batches may benefit from the larger work areas and higher available CO2 laser power of the Nova Plus or Titan Series. NPC can help you compare models based on your actual materials, dimensions and workload.

If your work focuses more on engraving names, logos, photographs or decorative designs onto wood than cutting shapes, view our Laser Engraving Machine page.

Plexiglass and Acrylic Laser Cutter

An acrylic laser cutter is one of the most useful machines for signage, branding, awards, display stands, name plates and retail display work. In addition to acrylic, you can also cut ABS, Mylar, Delrin, Polypropylene, PETG and Plexiglass which is commonly used for clear displays, protective covers, signs and custom parts.

Our high quality acrylic laser cutting machine can create clean shapes, letters, panels and display components with sharp, smooth edges and consistent results. This is useful for signage companies, acrylic fabricators, event companies, trophy suppliers, corporate gift suppliers and branding businesses.

If your work includes acrylic letters, logo shapes, desk signs, display boxes, menu stands, awards or retail branding items, NPC can help you choose the correct laser cutting machine based on material size, thickness, finish requirement and production volume.

Laser Cutting Machine for Leather, Rubber, EVA Foam, ABS and Two-Tone Materials

A fabric laser cutter can produce accurate patterns, labels, appliqué pieces and garment components for fashion, textile and soft-signage applications. Laser cutting can reduce manual trimming and help maintain consistent shapes across repeated production jobs.

A CO2 laser cutter can also process leather tags, wallet components, branded patches, rubber stamp material, EVA foam inserts, packaging foam, tool trays, plastic parts and two-tone nameplate sheets.

These applications are useful for fashion businesses, gift suppliers, branding companies, packaging manufacturers, stamp makers, schools, workshops and product-customisation businesses. NPC can advise you on machine size, laser power and suitable settings based on your materials and intended applications.

For permanent serial numbers, barcodes, logos and identification marks on metal parts, a Laser Marking Machine is the more suitable option.

FAQs About Our CNC Laser Cutter Models

A laser cutting machine is used to cut materials into accurate shapes, parts, patterns and designs. Businesses use laser cutters for acrylic signage, plexiglass displays, wood cutting, MDF panels, leather tags, fabric patterns, rubber stamps, EVA foam inserts, packaging samples, gifts and custom products.

A CO2 laser cutting machine uses a CO2 laser source to cut and engrave many non-metal materials. It is commonly used for acrylic, plexiglass, wood, MDF, plywood, leather, fabric, rubber, EVA foam, paper, card and selected laser-safe nameplate materials.

Yes. A CO2 laser cutter can cut many wood-based materials such as MDF, plywood, bamboo and selected natural wood. The cutting result depends on the material thickness, wood type, laser power and machine settings.

Yes. CO2 laser cutters are widely used for acrylic and plexiglass cutting. They are popular for signage, name plates, display stands, awards, corporate branding, retail displays and custom acrylic parts.

Yes. A suitable CO2 laser cutter can cut many fabric materials for fashion, soft signage, samples, labels, appliqué work and textile production. The result depends on the fabric type, cutting speed, extraction and machine settings.

Yes. CO2 laser cutters are commonly used for selected leather applications such as tags, patches, wallets, labels, branding items and custom accessories. Material quality and correct settings are important for a clean result.

Yes. CO2 laser cutters can be used for selected rubber materials, especially rubber stamp material and custom rubber parts. The material should be suitable for laser use and proper ventilation should be used.

Yes. CO2 laser cutters can be used for suitable EVA foam applications such as inserts, packaging foam, tool trays, craft shapes and product protection. The correct settings and extraction are important because foam materials can react differently.

Some two-tone nameplate and engraving sheets are made for laser use, but not all ABS or plastic sheets are suitable for laser cutting. Always confirm the material is laser-safe before cutting. NPC can guide you based on the exact sheet type and application.

Choose a CO2 laser cutter for compatible wood, acrylic, fabric and leather applications. For sheet metal, including carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium alloy, consider a CNC fiber laser cutter. CNC refers to computer-controlled movement and can apply to both technologies. Select the laser power and working area based on your material grade, regular cutting thickness, maximum sheet size and daily production volume.

Start with the materials and thicknesses you regularly cut. Our 1.5kW configuration has maximum single-pass cutting thicknesses of 6mm for stainless steel and 4mm for aluminium alloy. The 3kW configuration increases these limits to 8mm and 6mm respectively. Therefore, an application requiring 8mm stainless steel exceeds the stated capacity of the 1.5kW option.Choose the working area separately: both power options are available with 610 × 610mm or 1,300 × 1,300mm cutting areas. Higher power does not automatically mean a larger working area. For production planning, compare cutting results and complete job times using representative drawings, materials and thicknesses. Maximum cutting thickness alone does not tell you how many finished parts you can produce per hour.

Yes. NPC can supply a suitable laser cutting machine UAE-wide, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Every laser cutter Dubai customers purchase from NPC includes delivery, professional installation, basic training and a 1 year service contract (AMC). Our local team can also recommend the laser cutting machine Dubai businesses need based on their materials, sheet sizes and expected workload.
